Borderlands 2 getting level increase later this year

The President of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, said the other night that there is a 100% chance of the level cap being increased in Borderlands 2 sometime this year.

The announcement came after Randy\'s interview with VentureBeat was questioned by a fan, where he replied with fairly strong language. The interview discusses some of the issues that could be caused by raising the level cap in the game as some of the developers claim \"Raising the level cap could break our game\".

Many users on the Gearbox forums claim the level cap might remain at \'50\' but Randy is reassuring gamers that the game will definitely be seeing a level cap increase later this year.
