When Petula's pet shop opens purchase a Cluckles, have 2 of your Pinata's Romance and as soon as the egg is delivered place it by the Cluckles.
Select the Cluckles and move your cursor over the egg and press A.
Note: If the Cluckles does refuse to hatch the egg make it happy by feeding it "Happy Sweets" which can be purchased from Costalot's store. Also make sure your Cluckles is fenced off so it won't get eaten by a Pretztail or any other Pinata species.
